Rare blue Amber from Jambi, Sumatra in a cabochon cut. Most sciences agree on a theory of volcanic activity being responsible for the color. This millions of years old Amber was subject to great tectonic pressure, heat and dustparticles. The molecule structures changed and made this Amber reflect blue light in front of a dark background and direct sun light.
