Genuine treated Star Ruby from Magadascar with genuine natural star effect. Small natural hollows in the ruby were filled with glass in vacuum - this way the Ruby shows a permanent enhanced clarity and color. This often used treatment for Rubies is only visible under strong magnification by the skilled gemmologist. The natural star effect is only seen in the hexagon crystal core of the Ruby - very interesting gem for collectors or jewelry.
